Hey everyone,
Not sure if you've noticed, but we only have player pages for some people. That's because there's an error with Hasheem Thabeet, and the way the data was entered for his previous year's stats in Houston. The game can create the HTML for all the players up until him, and I could easily edit it if I had access to those files. Unfortunately, the only person who can access that is Gary Gorski, creator of the game and the one who entered the data wrong in the first place. Until I hear back from him, we'll have incomplete HTML.
Do you want to go ahead and start the season as scheduled (early next week) without it, or would you prefer we wait until we can have the full HTML?

I'm not sure how many GMs are without DDS access right now, but for those that are, not having the HTML is going to cripple them.

It's just the player cards, which means the only data you are REALLY missing is the scouting report and the length of contract information. Everything else is available in the team pages, ratings, season stats, etc.

I'm honestly in the dark right now with my roster and other rosters too- so I'm all for waiting, but whatever the consensus is I'm fine with. I just may hold on on trading until I have a clearer picture.

Scouting report is bull anyway lol.
But yeah, this depends on the non DDS users.

Myles, I had that exact same issue with a previous multiplayer league I created. It was really annoying, cause even the game crashed while trying to acces Thabeets profile (although you could continue in the game). I tried everything, from trying to find what was wrong at the database with him, to removing him to don't know how many other things. There should still be a thread at wolverinestudios I opened for him. Sadly I didn't find any answer or way to solve the issue..

I'd prefer to wait for the HTML fix, but if that's not possible then obviously we would have to continue without it.

The issue is in the 2012 season disk, so no matter what you do, without editing the season disk you can't do anything about it. Thabeet's messed up stat is hardcoded to player ID 377, and all the other historical stats are hardcoded to the Player ID# as well, so I can't change everyone's ID. Also, since we already imported the season disk, editing the base season disk itself wouldn't help for this league. What I need is access to the historical stats that are in CSL.pbb. If I (or Gary) can get to those, then I can fix it.
The only other way to do it would be to somehow make Thabeet retire. While no one would miss Thabeet, there's really no way to do this.

With the next league I created I didn't have the issue, but didn't undestand why. I though it had to do with the game update that came between both files. Now I understand that it's just because the second time I only used 2012 Season disk to generate the rookie class

Yeah, I emailed Gary. Luckily I'm a community manager at WS so he looks at all my emails, we're actually talking a lot about the next updates for PB3 right now, so hopefully he can help me out.
