With the playoffs moving at a painfully slow pace already, we have decided to do two sims a day for the rest of the playoffs. Myles will do a morning sim everyday, I will do a night sim. This way, GM's still have enough time to make any adjustments needed while also speeding up the pace a bit.

Thank you based Dylan. I didn't want to suggest this again after getting shot down last time, but these playoffs are moving SO slow.

Anything that gets us to the offseason faster is fine with me.

The decision has already been made and I may be in the minority or the only one but I'm not too big on the idea myself.
Seems like the more important rounds are gonna be rushed through while the actual 1st RD may have benefited from 2 a day sims.
I like checking in on my team for one important game for the PO's even if the sim is run late, it seems more urgent and meaningful especially with the PO's progressing with some very interesting matchups.
Seems like 2 a days won't give GM's time to actually absorb the experience.
Is this solely just to satisfy team GM's who did not make the PO's? I sure would hope not and certainly hope it isn't rushed just to get to the draft which will then come to an absolute crawl given the amount of otc time for picks to be made.
To reiterate the PO's then Finals is the most important part of the season and does not need to be rushed but it looks as if that is the decision, a decision I'm not feelin' at all.

It's more like this, at least the way we see it: we are giving teams 24 hours to make adjustments, yet so many GMs aren't taking advantage of it. So why wait 24 hours when Dylan and I can do it every 12 hours, and that still gives the GMs who like to make adjustments enough time to do so. Yes, the playoffs and Finals are the most important part (hence why for the Finals it will still be a one game per 24 hour format) but at the same time we have to try and spark activity and get the ball rolling around here.

Ah I see. In a perfect (sim) world it'd be great if the GM's who didn't make or are no longer in the PO's would still take the time and contribute someway so yeah I get the activity part though also I feel this is generally what happens irl when teams are eliminated/ etc. It's called "Gone Fishin'" for a reason. Anyway decision is made so like Referee Mills Lane used to say, "Let's get it on!"

Not a fan of this personally along with the increased sim days at the end of the season. Rushing to suit people that don't make the playoffs isn't a good idea and I can't think of any league out there that still exists that has speeded things up. They all die out sooner or later so this is a recipe for disaster in the long term IMO.
