The reason this isn't realistic is that it would never be effective IRL. You can argue more usage and stuff all you want, but give any post player in the NBA those touches and they wouldn't maintain a high level of efficiency, ESPECIALLY someone like Haywood or Favors lol.
When was the last time a predominantly post player put up 30ppg anyway?
I'd still give it a couple more sims at least to get a full idea, or I like the idea of Myles simming the season so we won't have to do that, if that's possible?

I'm planning on running multiple tests.

If steals can be nerfed then this needs to be taken under consideration I guess.

This is silly and ill post more tomorrow, so please don't nerf my chance to be competitive until then, just because real life dictates that fantasy shouldn't be.
All - this is a sim. Where fantasy dictates. Play as such.
Also, Haywood is averaging 13/10. RELAX. My team is like the lowest scoring in the league. It's a terrible reason to get rid of an entire offensive scheme just because you don't or can't run it.

Don't worry about it. I ran some tests during the day today (a few seasons worth of data, both CSL related and just regular default roster related) and I found no correlation between using the single post offense and wins. Centers do tend to play above their ratings in this offense, but no team benefited absurdly in the W-L column. As anticipated, certain offensive sets simply optimize the talent build on a team, but does not guarantee wins.
The only issue I could see is players like Haywood demanding more on their next contract than they are really worth, but that happens all the time IRL anyway. I don't think this offense is an issue.

Bynum will win MVP I feel, especially with how stats are all that determine the award lol.
But yeah, if it doesn't affect wins I'm good with that.

I'm talking to the admin team about doing GM voted awards and ignoring the DDS ones. DDS overvalues big men in these awards anyway, so even without the stat inflation you'd probably see a big man win it.

That'd be real nice and I'm up for it.

Ah, alright. If it doesn't affect wins, I am good.

If this single post offense thing really takes off and a lot of teams start to use it, you'll see a massive increase in value of big men who can score from outside, Ryan Anderson, etc, because those are the guys who really make the single post offense worth it. If your 4 can't shoot, you can't run that offense as he becomes useless on offense.
That will lead to better players being undervalued as they don't "fit" on single post offense teams. So you'll see teams out there with better 4/5 tandems running a double post offense or a standard offense, against a team with a less skilled, but better shooting 4 and an inflated 5.

Yes, this causes a league shift in strategy. I maintain Gary needs to fix this in a patch because of the unrealism, but it's fine to let go for the time being.

Too bad the single post isn't in DDS 2. Sidney + Maric = boomtown.

So what you're saying is I should be moving Ryan Anderson back to PF?!? I knew I was doing something wrong lol.
