Thanks Guys  Portland Trail Blazers name Andrei Sanzharov as GM Portland, September 25, 2013 – Portland Trail Blazers finally have a new general manager, the first step in what could possibly be a massive offseason makeover in Portland. Blazers announced today their new addition to the Leadership Team. Andrei Sanzharov will be taking over, effective immediately, as the GM for the team. Andrei will be responsible for the basketball operations and personnel related decisions. He spent the last 9 seasons as a GM for Minnesota and was instrumental to the success of this organisation. In his own words: ‘I appreciate the opportunity that the Blazers have given me. This is a quality team and front office and I look forward to joining that nucleus. It’s a talented roster with a great foundation. I am looking forward to taking the team to the next level and becoming a perennial championship contender.’ |
