You're still liable for the rest of his contract if he retires so it doesn't matter from that standpoint.

Three former Knicks retired this offseason: Rasheed Wallace, Kurt Thomas and Jason Kidd. Camby not retiring was a surprise to me, but anyway glad y managed to get rid of all that contracts before they retire and get younger

I'm guessing team success plays a role? Hadn't considered that.
I just remember in R2G v1 first season, both Camby and Nash also retired. Both teams were out in the first round IIRC.

As expected, nobody from my roster retired...although I could do without some of them.
My favorite part of sim games is seeing the stars decline and new stars come to light. When you play a video game, like NBA 2k for example, unless you are hardcore and play it non-stop, you very rarely see the stars decline. That mixed with bad progression models makes experiencing the rise and decline of player generations almost impossible.
