It would be a lot of work. Even if you personally tracked it, with the majority of teams not fully understanding it, issues will arise.
Not to mention the expiry dates too. Cool idea but tough to implement.

Cool idea but tough to implement. Do people not really know how TPEs work though? I'd assume most people do. Expiry dates and stuff would come with tracking though. It isn't all too different than with tracking protected picks IMO, though I understand there is room for things to get complicated.

Doesnt really matter to me. If we track protected picks, it shouldnt be too hard for TPEs.

In the grand scheme is this worth it?

It unnecessarily complicates the finances and I see a lot more teams getting themselves into cap and luxury tax trouble because they're not quite clear on how using a trade exception affects their future financial situation.
At a certain point, the work in computing finances gets to be more of a chore than it's worth, and TPEs cross that line IMO. I just see it causing a lot of confusion and hassle that isn't worth whatever flexibility certain GMs would get out of it.

I am impartial to it. If it happens it does, if not it doesn't - no biggie. It could make some trades being easier to happen, but it will cause more 'workload' for the top brass.

This is a real NBA thing though, it adds to the realism of the sim league, and is very useful when you can't match salaries/etc.
So even if we have someone (me) to take care of the details and keeping track, are people against it?

Still against it.

My opinion is that it will cause more problems.
It may seem like it is easy to keep up with but wait until the first time someone "didn't understand" what it meant for them.
I think while it may make the league more like the NBA, there is not a dire need to add it.

I see. I guess we don't have enough support for that.
What about the minimum deals one?
